From the very beginning, Mia’s creativity and boundless energy blossomed as she delved into crafting tales with her father, Colin. Together, they spun magical narratives featuring Winston, a terrier with extraordinary abilities granted by a heroic celestial dog from distant galaxies. The series revolves around Winston’s thrilling escapades, fuelled by a mystical bone gifted to him by an intergalactic furry superhero. Her collaborative efforts with her father breathe life into their whimsical adventures, capturing the imagination of readers young and old. Beyond her literary pursuits, Mia finds inspiration in 90s TV shows, the imaginative worlds of Roald Dahl and C.S. Lewis, historical tales, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and bonding over DIY projects and arts and crafts sessions with her parents.

In 2023, age six, Mia began planning the second instalment of Winston’s adventures, aiming for a 2024 release as we continue expanding the Winston universe her and her father created.
